In June 2003, we Head out for our annual trip in Illinois for BNSF & UP action. On our way out, we stop by Buda, Illinois on the BNSF Mendota Sub to nab a couple west bound Amtrak's passing the depot and the CB&Q signal bridges. We then end up at Rochelle, Illinois for plenty of action on the UP & BNSF. Lots of colorful lash ups on the BNSF with leased power and old color schemes from the Santa Fe and BN.
