If there's an absolute strategy for job hunting, it's to apply to IT companies like system integrators and general consulting firms in the first half of the job hunt and get a job offer. Then, while maintaining that offer, get a job offer from a business company in the second half of the job hunt. It's very simple. Apply to a maximum of 10 companies across the first and second halves of the job hunt. Many of my viewers have implemented this exact strategy. You can get into a system integrator, which is a staffing business, even if you don't have a specific goal in mind. I recommend it for the first half of the job hunt when you haven't yet solidified your focus. However, system integrators can be fraught with traps. In recent job hunting for new graduates, there are systems engineering (SES) companies that call themselves system integrators. Getting a job offer from an SES doesn't provide any reassurance.
