Making Music Without an Audience

Using a projector was something I had on my list for a while. To my luck, a friend lend me hers to try. Building soundscapes, just being in the moment is always fun, but getting those visuals running in the background did a lot. It´s not only the guitar I´m playing, the sounds I´m bathing in. I also wandered throught light. Not in an esoteric way. Just in a more practical way of flooding the space with colour. Having the soundscape evolving while the patterns and colors are changing on their own gave my such a great experience. Pedal wise, I used MOOD to get a loop running while then using Fable to further fill the space. Getting that recording into the NUX dual loop stereo made a pretty good foundation to further use MOOD and DOBBO. The DD-500 helped a lot getting a sense of everything being in sync, because every layer had to pass it. It was the first video using visuals, but I guess there will be more videos like this coming.
