10 large numbers in slow English - listening practice
Can you understand large, complicated numbers when you hear them in English? Test your listening with these 10 large numbers in American English. You need to be able to understand millions, thousands, tens, and ones. You need a paper and pen or pencil to write down the numbers you hear. You will hear me read 10 numbers. The first time, write down what you hear. The second time, I show the number so you can check your answer. I read in slow, careful American English, but the numbers are VERY DIFFICULT. Don't feel bad if you make mistakes. All you need is more practice. Good luck! Let me know how many you got right in the comments below. This is a version using "and" before the final number. Not all Americans do this, but it's important to be able to understand it when you hear it.
