[Part 1 YM 1987] Pres. Ikeda’s Guidance: ‘Practice is the Essence of Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism’
4th April 1987. This lecture served as an introduction to Mr Causton’s lecture-series based on the Ikeda & Toynbee Dialogue • (Complete) IKEDA & TOYNBEE DIALOGUE Same date, same theme as the one I uploaded already, delivered to the YW in 1987, see • [Part 1 YW 1987] Pres. Ikeda’s Guidance: ‘... Like the Ikeda & Toynbee Dialogue lecture-series, Mr Causton also delivered this introductory lecture twice, to the YW and YM divisions – morning and afternoon sessions. This present upload is not merely a repeat: new things are being said and when the material is repeated, it is given a different twist, allowing us to see this topic in a fresh, new light. The NEW CENTURY GROUP mentioned in this lecture was founded by Mr Causton. It was made of 50 members of the Young Men Division (YM) and 50 members of the Young Women Division (YW). ‘NEW CENTURY’ because the Youth Division of the time (YM & YW) were ‘the future’ of SGI-UK. The aim of the group was to study together, a training course for future SGI-UK leaders. For my project on vol.2 of the Gosho https://www.scribd.com/document/35062...
