Summer Zinnia

"Summer Zinnia" is a Timelapse process acrylic painting of a zinnia flower in shades of pink. A light layer of transparent colors is applied as an underpainting and then gradually built up into the opaque colors to create vibrant colors. Throughout the video, Debbie demonstrates color mixing and color blending wet into wet techniques. Brushstroke techniques to create texture and depth are also shown. The zinnia flower is one of the summer's most favorite jewels in the garden and of course, it just had to be painted! Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed it!
