Vintage Hofner Club Bass Restoration, Repair & Modification
This vintage Hofner Club Bass had to have some major repairs done, such as a Level, Crown & Polish of the frets, repositioning of the tailpiece and the bridge and also an alteration of the low E string slot at the bottom of the tailpiece. Typically, the thicker strings that are made nowadays don't always fit into the vintage tailpiece of a Hofner bass, so in this case a minor modification had to be done.
