This game, I'm playing for survival and trying to ghost the hunters the entire time, with some added mindgames on the side. And today, we're using accelerated start rules to get into the best parts of the game faster, starting the speedrunner at Ancestral Mound with Vengeful Spirit and a completed mask. Can I beat The Hollow Knight while three gaslit hunters try to stop me? Hunters win if the Speedrunner dies. Starting Rules: Speedrunner starts in Ancient Mound, Hunters 5s, then 30s each after. First Hunter starts beside Crossroads Cornifer, others at Dirtmouth Bench. Death Penalty: No Death Penalty (due to 3 players). The Speedrunner cannot hear the Hunter voice call. Hunter Scaling: Hunters start with 5 HP (due to 3 players). Hunters gain movement abilities when the Speedrunner does. Hunters gain Vengeful Spirit with the second movement ability. Hunters gain a Mask Shard for each Speedrunner powerup collected. (Powerups are defined as completed masks, soul vessels, charm notches, nail upgrades, nail arts, spells, and spell upgrades.) Chat Alerts: When the speedrunner collects a powerup. When the speedrunner collects a movement ability (alert specifies the ability collected). When a toll or shop item is purchased. When a lever is hit or the tram is used. When a grub is rescued. When a boss is defeated. When a stag is used (alert specifies 1 of 2 possible destinations). When a charm is collected.
