The Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival heralds the arrival of summer in Hakata, and we're broadcasting its finale, the Oi Yamakasa, live. With guest celebrity Asahi Nao, we'll deliver a full, dynamic broadcast of the festival through powerful footage. The Hakata Gion Yamakasa is Hakata's signature summer festival. RKB will be reporting on the Oi Yamakasa live with announcer Miyawaki Kenichi, host of "Tadaima!". Celebrity Asahi Nao will be appearing as a guest again this year. From what perspective will she be watching the Yamakasa this year? Keep an eye out for her expressions. Four announcers will be stationed along the Yamakasa route, and approximately 17 cameras will deliver a full coverage of the festival's highlights.
