Visiting the beautiful Italian seaside city of Scalea in Calabria

Our next adventure in Italy has us taking the train from Tropea to Scalea. Arriving in Scalea we first explore Torre Talao (Talao Tower) where we enjoy breathtaking views of Scalea and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Next we take a walk along the beach and enjoy an afternoon drink at the lido. Scalea's old town/centro storico is absolutely magical as we climb stairs to the ruins of the Castello just in time for an amazing sunset and more views of Scalea. Our walk down is just as amazing, Scalea's centro storico is a special place.
