Heavenly - Liz's to High Five

Liz's to High Five is an intermediate ski run located at Heavenly Mountain Resort. The trails run from the summit of the Sky Express chairlift down to the bottom of the lift and the Sky Deck lodge. The run begins to the skier's left of the top of the chairlift, briefly following Ridge Run before turning to the right off the ridge onto Liz's. Liz's features multiple steep intermediate drops as it runs straight down the mountain, eventually merging onto High Five, turning slightly to the right. High Five features a gentle intermediate pitch as it runs down the mountain, passing underneath the Sky Express before merging with California Trail, turning to the left, gently returning to the bottom of the chairlift and the Sky Deck lodge. Heavenly Mountain Resort is a ski area located in South Lake Tahoe, California, and Stateline, Nevada. The resort is located in both El Dorado County, California, and Douglas County, Nevada, on the south edge of Lake Tahoe, making it one of only three ski resorts in the United States to be located in two different states. The resort is located about an hour's drive south of Reno, a 40-minute drive southwest of Carson City, a 2-hour drive east of Sacramento, a 3-hour drive northeast of San Fransico/Oakland, and a 3-hour 45-minute drive northeast of San Jose. Heavenly is known for its large variety of intermediate and advanced terrain with some of the best views of nearby Lake Tahoe and is a popular destination for skiers from Northern California due to its close proximity to major metro areas such as the San Fransico Bay Area and Sacramento. The resort is owned by Vail Resorts and is therefore a destination on the company's Epic Pass.
