President John Mahama has called for a sustained national effort to tackle flooding and improve sanitation, stressing that the recent floods should serve as a wake-up call for citizens to keep their surroundings clean and protect public infrastructure. Speaking during the National Cleanup Exercise in Alajo, the President commended the Armed Forces, security services, traditional leaders and residents for participating in the initiative.
