Wiosenne cięcie szczepionych klonów - Oczami Ogrodnika

Another installment of the film Through the Eyes of a Gardener, featuring spring general pruning of trees such as grafted maples. ✨🌳✨🌳✨ If you found our materials useful, please like this post. We encourage you to comment and share the video further (with friends, garden groups, plant-related websites), thus spreading gardening awareness and education. 🙌🏻✨ ✨🌳✨🌳✨ Thanks to such general pruning, trees can branch out better and will have more shapely shapes. It is important to carry out such pruning in March-April, after any significant frosts. ✨🌳✨🌳✨ ✅ Such pruning can be done on: all grafted maples and elms, Japanese willows (not to be confused with the Iwa willow species, which produces catkins in April; pruning such a plant will get rid of the catkins), and catalpas. ❌ Do not prune ornamental plants that bloom in spring, such as plums, cherries, apples, or almonds, at this time. These types of plants should be pruned in the summer after they have finished blooming. ✨🌳✨🌳✨ We prune very short, leaving half a level of buds from which new shoots will grow. The cut is made about 2 cm above the selected bud. ✨🌳✨🌳✨ Such pruning is done once a year – in spring. Autumn can be a time for corrective pruning to remove any protruding shoots from the tree's overall structure. #treasureadvice #oczamiogrodnika
