Mitsubishi Pajero wastegate / VGT control - 3 CAMERAS!! Mitsubishi Pajero / Shogun / Montero

The turbo wastegate, or the vanes on a Variable Geometry Turbo, is/are controlled by the ECU (Engine Control Unit) on modern turbocharged vehicles, which means it behaves very differently to a traditional boost-controlled wastegate. In this video we sync up three separate cameras to monitor wastegate / VGT behaviour, throttle inputs and dash gauges, to see how an ECU-controlled wastegate / VGT operates under a range of driving conditions.
