Welcome to the Pier City Cycles Tutorial Series. In these videos, we hope to show you a range of jobs or mods that you can carry out on your BMW R9T. We hope to cover those simple jobs which new owners might not feel confident in asking, all the way through to the signature mods we use to transform our builds. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to remove the Servo Motor and Exhaust Flap of your R9T. This is a modification that many BMW R nineT owners carry out and isn't difficult to do at home with a few tools and a cup of coffee on the go. The exhaust flap on the R9T isn't really required for anything other than restricting the noise and often end up seizing in place anyway - getting rid of it is a no-brainer as far as we're concerned.
