To Preserve Memories, I Built a Machine That “Freezes Time” Three summers ago, I visited an children’s home to teach the children how to make balloon animals. After the activity ended, a little girl gave me a red balloon elephant as a gift—signed by her and her friends. I was deeply moved, because it was likely the last time we would ever meet. However, just one week later, the balloon elephant deflated. That was when I began to wonder: is there any way to preserve a balloon permanently, so that such a warm and meaningful memory could be sealed in time? This question led me to start developing a technology that allows balloons to be preserved indefinitely. The production cycle of this video was truly long. The research began in early February 2025, and it took nearly ten months before this video was finally released. From the very first experiment to building a rotating preservation machine, I went through countless failures, revisions, and repeated attempts—all for the sake of preserving a moment I did not want to forget. Some of the technologies shown in the video have already entered the patent application stage. Finally, thank you to everyone who watched the video until the end. I sincerely hope you enjoy this creation. If one day you gained a superpower, what would you want to preserve the most? If you enjoyed this video, please support it and share it with your friends!
