Peru: Supporting families in need during COVID-19 - Monica's Story

Monica has been an SOS Family advisor for SOS Children’s Villages Perú in Cusco for four years. In March 2020, after the Covid-19 lockdown was announced, her work with the Family Strengthening Programme changed dramatically. Working remotely is a challenge, due to the urgency and the families’ lack of connectivity, but with adaptation and creativity this woman has been able to continue giving support to children and parents.
