We left Greece bound for Italy, facing strong winds, uncomfortable waves, sleepless nights, and a crossing that started much more arduous than we imagined. While the Joy cut through the Ionian Sea, the forecast changed constantly, and the tension increased with each passing hour. But the real challenge was still ahead. Unpredictable currents, whirlpools, intense traffic of giant ships, and a passage in the middle of the night made this crossing an experience we will remember for a long time.
