First Time in INDIA: I Was NOT Ready for This! Day 1

It was supposed to be a smooth arrival… but my first moments in India turned into total chaos! From nearly being stopped at immigration (no arrival form!) to sweating in line, panicking but then being saved by a kind stranger. And just when I thought things couldn’t get more stressful… a beautiful surprise was waiting for me outside. Join me on my first day in India, as I meet my husband’s family for the first time, taste delicious home-cooked food, try on endless kurtis (while the family waits patiently), sip on fresh sugarcane juice, and of course try every sweet I could find (hello, gajar pak and warm jalebi!). And yes… there were street dogs, coconut stands, and a lot of learning along the way.
