Welcome to my new blog! My journey in England began from the Reading railway station to the world's oldest English speaking University,Oxford. passing through Didcott Parkway station, and heading towards the historic city of Oxford, located in the Northwest of London. Oxford is not only home to the prestigious University of Oxford, but also offers so much more—from the calm waters of the Oxford Canal to the lively charm of Cornmarket Street and the cozy atmosphere at George Street Social. Along the way, I stopped at Nandos for a quick meal, explored the Oxford shop, and picked up gifts from souvenir shops like Watsons of Oxford. On Broad Street, I found the Oxford tourist information center and also noticed the inviting Buttery Hotel. I joined a free tour Oxford, where I discovered Balliol College Oxford, admired fascinating historicplaces, and ended my day at the legendary Turf Tavern Oxford, known as the oldest pub in Oxford. With every step, Oxford reveals itself as more than just a university city. Many of the magical scenes from Harry Potter were filmed at the University of Oxford. The Bodleian Library’s Divinity School became the Hogwarts Infirmary, while the Duke Humfrey’s Library served as the Hogwarts Library. At Christ Church College, the grand staircase featured in the scenes where students first enter Hogwarts, and its dining hall inspired the iconic Great Hall.
