Boris Feldman shows off the DKW GT Malzoni. The Brazilian sports car got its name because Rino Malzoni built it on his farm in Matão, in the interior of São Paulo. How did he create the GT Malzoni? He took a DKW Belcar sedan, removed the body, shortened the chassis, and created this new, very lightweight body. The Belcar's weight, which was over 800 kilograms, dropped to 700 kg, the 50 hp engine went up to 80, 90 hp, and the car hit the track… Interlagos, the Barra circuit in Rio, Brasília… And it was a success! This car even raced at the legendary Laguna Seca circuit in the USA.
