Nagano Trip in Spring 2026 - Part 2 The day after staying in Okaya, I drove the Venus Line last year, so this time I went to Takabocchi. I'd been curious about the name for a while, but it was a much better place than I imagined! It's one of my favorite spots. I drove around Lake Suwa and then went from Narai-juku to Okazaki in Aichi Prefecture. Spots I visited ■Takabocchi 〒399-0723 Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture This is also where Rin-chan stayed in Laid-Back Camp. A Laid-Back Camp pilgrimage site. You can see the Alps, and a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Suwa. It's also a great place to watch the night sky and fireworks. ■Natori-san's Egg Shop Yatsugatake Branch 〒399-0211 261-4 Fujimi, Fujimi-machi, Suwa-gun, Nagano Prefecture A shop with a constant stream of customers from morning. The cream puffs were delicious! I want to eat them again! ■Narai-juku 〒399-6303 Narai, Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture A post town on the Nakasendo road. The old townscape and mountain scenery are very picturesque.
