F-ONE Rocket Wing Crossover Review – "The Quiver Killer"? by Liquid Blue Cabarete - Wingfoiling
READ DESCRIPTION Hey everyone, Charles Osterlund here from Liquid Blue Cabarete – thanks for watching! In this video, I share my personal review and first impressions of a new board I’ve added to our quiver. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised by its performance and how well it’s working for my riding style and the conditions here in Cabarete. Why I Chose the 84L Version I typically ride a 44L board, but on lighter wind days, I need more volume to compensate for smaller wings and avoid switching to larger ones. This board is marketed as a one-board quiver for various disciplines and wind conditions. While this may be true for many, I prefer having two setups: One for stronger wind and high performance One for lighter, more mellow sessions Cabarete offers a wide range of conditions year-round, with over 300 days of wind (10–25 knots) and waves ranging from 0 to 6 feet. Having the right setup makes a big difference. Who This Board Is For I tested a mid-length board before and didn’t love it. This new crossover model strikes a great balance between volume, size, and performance. It's ideal for intermediate to advanced riders, though the larger sizes could also work for beginners. Tip: Always pair your board with the right foil for your weight, board size, and local conditions. Final Thoughts If you're considering this board, I recommend: Watching multiple reviews from different riders Demoing it if possible If not, pick the volume that suits you—it’s hard to go wrong with this model And most importantly—practice is key. Progress takes time, so stay patient, especially if you're new to foiling.
