One of The Most Interesting Cases I've Covered - Peggy Carr
This case truly did grip me...something about how he carried out what he did, and the small details surrounding the case were so interesting...such as the detective working to gain trust of the potential culprit. This case is also known as the Mesna Case Peggy Carr was working when she began to feel ill. Her daughter took her to the home and she went to the hospital after her symptoms got worse. The Drs couldn't work out what was wrong with her. They then made a chilling discovery when they ran tests on her body. She tested positive for thallium, a rare metal that if ingested can cause serious harm. Someone had put this metal in some coca cola bottles in the family home but the family only had one house near them belonging to George Trepal and his wife Diana The hunt for ever was responsible would soon begin.
