#10Commandments#Moses#Idols#Pharaoh The Ten Commandments are a copy of God's character and are the principles of His Kingdom. The ten commandments reveal God's love, justice, goodness and holiness. The apostle Paul, explaining the origin of the ten commandments, wrote: "Owe no man anything, but to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not covet; and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. [Rom13:8-10]. And again the apostle Paul writes: "Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, just and good. [Rom7:12]. The ten commandments of God existed since the Creation of Mankind, and they are revelations of the Law of love that existed from eternity in Heaven, guiding the holy Angels in heaven. When God created the first man, He wrote His law on their hearts. They were created with a nature that was in harmony with His Laws written on their hearts and resembled God in character. After Adam and Eve rebelled against God, their nature changed to one of rebellion against God rather than love and obedience. Although from generation to generation, humans largely abandoned God and worshipped the creatures of nature instead of the Creator, the laws of God still remained in their hearts, testifying to them that what they were doing was evil. The Bible says: “For when Gentiles who do not have the law do by nature the things contained in the law, these, who do not have the law, are a law to themselves. They show the work of the law written on their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts, accusing or else excusing them; [Romans 2:14-15]
