La Catedral de Tlaxcala, un monumento del siglo XVI distinguido por la Unesco
Puebla (Mexico), July 27 (EFE) – Bearing traces of the evangelization and colonization of the territories of New Spain, the Franciscan Convent Complex, the Monastery and Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption in Tlaxcala, central Mexico, was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List on Tuesday. The cultural organization voted in favor of including the Franciscan complex as a World Heritage Site, extending the listing of the first 16th-century monasteries on the slopes of Popocatépetl, which were added to the list in 1994.
