MEUS Gold Rush 1/10 LCG chassis

In this video, I’m starting a true ground-up RC crawler build using the MEUS Gold Rush chassis, beginning exactly where every serious crawler build should — the chassis and foundation. This is not an RTR upgrade or a partial rebuild. The Gold Rush chassis is assembled from bare rails with a strong focus on chassis layout, suspension geometry, link mounting points, and overall balance before adding axles, electronics, or drivetrain components. Getting the chassis right is the key to traction, stability, and predictable crawling performance. This build will be running MEUS Iso Kinetic axles, designed to improve driveline angles and articulation while keeping power delivery smooth and efficient. Power will come from the Furitek Komodo Unity 10-in-1 ESC and brushless out-runner motor (1800KV Torque Edition) — a proven brushless setup for 1/10 scale rock crawlers that prioritizes low-end torque and control. For grip, this rig will roll on Treal beadlock wheels paired with the MEUS 1.9 Comp Pin tires, and suspension duties will be handled by 100mm Desert Lizard shocks, helping keep the tires planted and working on technical terrain. This episode focuses on setting the foundation of the build — because torque, traction, and control all start with a properly designed and assembled chassis. Future videos in this series will cover axles, suspension tuning, electronics installation, and real-world crawling performance. If you’re into high-performance RC crawler builds, brushless crawler setups, or MEUS Gold Rush chassis builds, you’re in the right place. ⸻ 🔧 Build Components (Search Friendly) Build Specs: • Chassis: MEUS Gold Rush • Axles: MEUS Iso Kinetic Axles • ESC / Motor: Furitek Komodo Unity 10-in-1 (1800KV Torque Edition) • Wheels: Treal Beadlock Wheels • Tires: MEUS 1.9 Comp Pin Tires • Shocks: 100mm Desert Lizard Shocks https://www.meusracing.com/?ref=SIMON...
