Monster 696 Charging System Overhaul!! - A Day in the Life

This customer stated that he replaced the battery but would still run flat. Easy diagnosis, the stator coil was shorting internally and needed to be swapped out. The customer also approved to have his oil and filter renewed while his bike is in the shop. The customer opted for OEM parts. As Ducati only sell the rotor assembly with the stator, I swapped that out too. I recommended to overhaul the voltage regulator to be extra safe incase it was damaged.
