Create a pirate haven, assemble a fleet, sail the seas, and stand up to the Crown to preserve the Golden Age of Piracy. Beer, rifles, swordsmen, and rogues! Manage complex production chains and rule the seas alongside your crew of scoundrels. The Golden Age of Piracy is drawing to a close: the seas have succumbed to the control of pirate hunters sent by the Crown. The era of adventure and plunder will die... unless you're there to stop it. Corsair Cove is a city-building game that will test your mettle. You'll have to build without regard for cliffs and ridgelines, while managing complex production chains across the vast territory. Craft everything from spyglasses to cannons, equip your crew, and build unstoppable ships capable of reclaiming the seas and fighting the Crown. Raid and plunder nearby islands to obtain what you can't acquire from scratch, and explore uncharted lands in search of great treasures and powerful enemies. But above all, ensure your crew's morale never flags, for you'll need thousands of new recruits to keep the pirate flag flying. You begin your adventures on a deserted island, devoid of resources. You have little more than the wreckage of a shipwreck and the crew who managed to cling to life. You'll need to unleash your inner pirate engineer and master the art of scaling the terrain to seize every opportunity! Build wherever you can, for it is the steepest cliffs that will lead you to the top, allowing you to create a safe harbor for all pirates. Employ complex systems, with bridges, zip lines, and all manner of contraptions to move supplies around as efficiently as possible. Your buildings will use raw materials, and the finished products you manufacture will create the need for other distribution buildings. The skill with which you transport your goods can be the difference between life and death. Spread your influence across the island to gain access to distant resource depots, from wood and fiber to iron and copper. Beware, though: as you expand your buildings, it will become increasingly difficult to move from one to another without becoming inefficient. The threat of the crown's minions requires a navy to respond, in addition to the resources and production chains needed for the growing population for which you are responsible. Travel to distant lands on uncharted waters to uncover the unique situations that will unfold throughout the archipelago. Help smugglers transport their goods, search for hidden treasures in ancient temples, gamble, plunder, and attack enemy forts and fleets to regain control of the seas. The courage of your crew and the resources you sacrifice will determine the outcome of these events. Will you lend gunpowder from your reserves to a distant rebellion, even though it weakens your defenses? Or will you leave some of your sailors in charge of training the local inhabitants, sacrificing the productivity of your own camp? I hope you enjoyed this video.
