Skipton Gala 1977

A film made in 1977 by my late father Ken Ellwood. The film shows the procession gathering on Sackville street before setting off along Keighley Road. Some scenes filmed from the footplate of my Dad's Traction Engine with my Sister Deborah driving the engine which was named after her. Skipton Band are shown and one of the special guests that year was Miss Yorkshire television. Look out for faces of people you may recognise and please share with interested individuals and groups.
