Mouldy hay !
Feeding hay takes a little bit of knowledge to prevent feeding mouldy hay. You should examine every flake to see if it is suitable to feed. A forage test doesn't tell you if a bale is mouldy. The overall quality of the hay needs to be observed. All hay has a certain amount of dust to it but overly dusty hay is not good. If it isn't mouldy, you can shake excessive dust out away from the horses or you can soak and rinse the hay. If you do any hay soaking only feed what they will eat in a 12 hour maximum time. Use fresh water and rinse with fresh water. Keep all your buckets and feeders used for soaked hay clean. Thanks for watching 🤠🐎 Website http://radhooftrimming.com
