Mission San Luis Obispo
Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, founded in 1772 by Father Junípero Serra, is the fifth of California’s 21 missions. Located in downtown San Luis Obispo, it features a unique L-shaped church, beautiful gardens, and a peaceful courtyard. The mission was built to serve the Chumash people and played a key role in California’s early history.
