Steinberg Cubase has all the music tools to give your music a great lo-fi production, for example a nice vinyl effect. Dom looks at five ways of adding dirt to music, using the Grungelizer plugin, Bitcrusher to reduce the bit depth, the sample divider for metallic sounds and the Quadrafuzz plug-in - using the Quadrafuzz Decimator on the drums - and the Gradualizer to create a nice blend. He also uses filters, the multitap delay, ModMachine plugin and the sampler track.
