It was a bittersweet day. My husband joined me in saying goodbye to the Tians as time with them is now short. I met my husband while photographing Tai Shan, and his favorite girl is Mama Mei. Today, he came to say goodbye to the Tians as he may not make it back to the zoo before they leave. The zoo is our happy place, and we are so glad to share this passion with you all, too. If you plan to visit, go on a weekday as soon as the zoo opens. It was hectic today, and I heard the lines were super long on the weekend.
