The Amazing Artifacts Of The Gold Butte Mine
In this abandoned mine exploration we visit the Gold Butte Mine. Julie and I hiked into this area which is rich in mining history and mining artifacts. There was an aerial tramway operating here at one time and several towers and the upper terminal are intact. There are several deep vertical shafts scattered about the area with some having very warm air blowing out of them. The main shaft near the tram terminal is 1100 feet deep and had a massive head frame over it which is now collapsed. There is also the ruins of a mill site nearby and several buildings and mining related equipment still present. We hope you enjoy this video and we hope to make a return trip here sometime.
