Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is a video game from the Lego series for PC, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, and Wii set in the Star Wars universe. The game is based on the animated series The Clone Wars. Produced by Traveller's Tales and published by LucasArts and TT Games, the game has two game modes: single-player and multiplayer. Lego Star Wars III features missions and characters from The Clone Wars, along with the original Star Wars saga. Gameplay is similar to previous Traveller's Tales titles, with two players (or one) taking on different characters to combat enemies, solve puzzles, and engage in action in various missions. The game includes scenes from both the animated series and the films Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars. New features include the ability for players to command large armies of clones to fight against droids, and a story change where players can choose between two characters in different locations and navigate each character's story separately. The game features split-screen. Vehicle levels have been updated, allowing players to stop their vehicles and engage in foot combat. All original elements seen in previous Lego Star Wars games have returned. The game's hub has also been redesigned, with the action taking place aboard a Star Destroyer called "Resolute."
