(15 minutes) If your argument falls apart… it falls apart. Because here, sensitivity doesn't protect you. Here, the raw truth matters. 🗣️ Who is right? Tradition… or “modernity”? Comment, discuss, and take a stand. ✅ Rules and Debate Format in SURROUNDED: Element / Rule How it Applies Number vs. One A “guest/prominent figure” vs. a large group with opposing viewpoints. Debate Turns: Group members take turns debating with the guest. To speak, they compete for “the chair” — similar to a game of “musical chairs.” Limited Duration / Time Limit: “Rounds” last a limited time — for example, 20 minutes per affirmative round. In many episodes, each controversial claim is debated for 15 minutes. “Red Flag” Mechanism: If the majority of the group believes that a speaker should no longer continue arguing, they can raise “red flags” to remove them or end their participation.
