Burnout Recovery Day 2: What Are You Grieving?

A couple of days into burnout recovery, I've started noticing something I didn't expect. Beneath the exhaustion, frustration, and emotional burnout, there may be another experience many of us overlook: Grief. In Day 1, I reflected on stepping away from work and what it means to be signed off with burnout. In this Day 2 reflection, I'm exploring a different question: What am I grieving? This isn't advice from someone who's already recovered. I'm still in the middle of burnout recovery, sharing these reflections in real time as they unfold.
