WAL BASS GREG LAKE 1992 !! BASS MUSEUM # 3

Some weeks ago we had a wonderful Wal Bass JG Mk. 1 Custom 1977in the BASS PROFESSOR Museum. In this episode we will meet another extraordinary Wal Bass from the UK, a Custom Made Model from July 1992 built exclusively for the delighted hands of Greg Lake, the late Bassist for Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Yeah, this model looks a little bit like the regulaur Mk. II Bass because of its 24 frets, but there a lot differences. It begins with the Custom Shape body that looks different than the Wal Mk. II. This Greg Lake Model also offers a connection to the legendary Wal-System. If you have the right cable, you might can use. Mind the two in the 7th and 9th position. Very strange?! Greg Lake would have known. He played excately this instrument on various occations! Enjoy & stay healthy. 00:00 Wal Bass Greg Lake Introduction 00:43 Wal bass Greg Lake Details 02:26 Both Humbuckers Sound 02:57 Bridge Pickup 03:18 Bridge Pickup, less treble 03:55 Bridge Pickup plus Q-Filter 04:38 Neck Pickup 05:32 Neck Pickup, less treble 06:05 Neck Pickup plus Q-Filter 06:56 Pick Attack - but no slapping! 07:12 Bass Sound Examples 08:51 Show time! 10:58 Outro Did you miss the Slap sound?
