༄༅། །བླ་མ་རྒྱང་འབོད། Calling the Guru From Afar by Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche ཨ་ཧོ། a ho Aho! སྲིད་ཞིའི་ཁྱབ་བདག་རང་བྱུང་དང་པོ་ཡི་སངས་རྒྱས། ། sizhi khyabdak rangjung dangpo yi sangye Primordial Buddha, self-arisen and pervading both saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, འོད་གསལ་སྐུ་དང་ཡོན་ཏན་མི་ཟད་པའི་འབྱུང་གནས། ། ösal ku dang yönten mizepé jungné You are the inexhaustible source of both the kāyas and qualities of luminosity; ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཁྱབ་བརྡལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐུ་ཅན་གྱི་སྟོན་པ། ། chöying khyabdal yeshe kuchen gyi tönpa Teacher possessed of the wisdom kāya that pervades the dharmadhātu— ཆོས་སྐུའི་བླ་མ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཐུགས་མཆོག་རྩལ་མཁྱེན་ནོ། ། chökü lama dorjé tuk chok tsal khyen no Dharmakāya guru, Dorje Tukchok Tsal, care for me! རབ་འབྱམས་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་རྣམ་རོལ་གྱི་བཀོད་པ། ། rabjam kyilkhor gyatsö namrol gyi köpa Magically you emanate and reabsorb བསམ་ཡས་སྤྲོ་དང་བསྡུ་བའི་ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་གྱི་བྱེད་པོ། ། samyé tro dang duwé chotrul gyi jepo An infinite display of maṇḍala forms that defy the imagination, བདེ་སྟོང་འཕོ་འགྱུར་མེད་པའི་ཐིག་ལེ་རུ་ཤར་བ། ། detong pogyur mepé tiklé ru sharwa Arising as the bindu of unchanging bliss and emptiness— ལོངས་སྐུའི་བླ་མ་པདྨ་དབང་ཆེན་རྩལ་མཁྱེན་ནོ། ། longkü lama pema wangchen tsal khyen no Saṃbhogakāya guru, Pema Wangchen Tsal, care for me! མ་ལུས་སྲས་དང་བཅས་པའི་རྒྱལ་ཀུན་གྱི་ཕྲིན་ལས། ། malü sé dang chepé gyal kün gyi trinlé The activity of all the victorious buddhas and their offspring blossomed འཇམ་མགོན་དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མའི་མཚན་དཔེ་རུ་བཞད་པས། ། jamgön palden lamé tsenpé ru zhepé As the major and minor signs of this glorious master, Gentle Protector, རིས་མེད་བསྟན་འགྲོའི་དགེ་མཚན་འདོད་པ་རུ་འཇོ་མཛད། ། rimé tendrö getsen döpa ru jo dzé Whose unbiased benefit of the teaching and beings fulfils all wishes— སྤྲུལ་སྐུའི་བླ་མ་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་འོད་ཟེར་དེ་མཁྱེན་ནོ། ། tulkü lama khyentsé özer dé khyen no Nirmāṇakāya guru, Khyentse Özer, care for me! བཀའ་དྲིན་མཚུངས་ཟླ་བྲལ་བའི་དྲིན་ཆེན་གྱི་བླ་མ། ། kadrin tsungda dralwé drinchen gyi lama Guru of supreme kindness, your tenderness is beyond compare. འབྲལ་མེད་སྤྱི་གཙུག་རྒྱན་དུ་རྟག་པ་རུ་བཞུགས་ནས། ། dralmé chitsuk gyen du takpa ru zhuk né May I never be separated from you: forever adorn my crown! དགོངས་བརྒྱུད་བྱིན་རླབས་ཟབ་མོའི་ཉིན་བྱེད་ཀྱི་སྣང་བ། ། gonggyü jinlab zabmö nyinjé kyi nangwa May the blessings of your profound illuminating wisdom མྱུར་དུ་སྙིང་ལ་ཕོབ་ཅིག་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་དབང་བསྐུར། ། nyurdu nying la pob chik yeshe kyi wangkur Transfer swiftly to my heart: pray bestow wisdom’s empowerment! དད་དང་སྙིང་རྗེ་ངེས་འབྱུང་བྱང་སེམས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱུད་དུལ། ། dé dang nyingjé ngejung changsem kyi gyü dul May my mind be tamed by faith, compassion, renunciation and bodhicitta; བསྐྱེད་དང་རྫོགས་པ་མཐར་སོན་དབང་བཞི་ཡི་ལམ་གྱིས། ། kyé dang dzokpa tarsön wang zhi yi lam gyi May I master generation and perfection phases, complete the path of the four empowerments, མཐར་ཐུག་གདོད་མ་ཆོས་སྐུའི་རྒྱལ་ཐབས་ལ་འགོད་པས། ། tartuk döma chökü gyaltab la göpé And win the royal domain of the primordial dharmakāya— ཐུགས་ཡིད་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདྲེས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རང་རློབས་ཤིག ། tuk yi chik tu drepar jin gyi rang lob shik Bless me that my mind may merge with your omniscience! ཅེས་བསྒྲུབ་བརྩོན་སྣེའུ་གདོང་བན་ཚང་བླ་མས་བསྐུལ་ངོར་བླ་མའི་གཟུགས་བརྙན་མངྒ་ལས་ཤྲཱི་བྷཱུ་ཏིས་བྲིས་པ་དགེ་ཞིང་དོན་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །མངྒ་ལཾ། In response to a request made by an earnest practitioner, Neudong Bentsang Lama, Maṅgala Śrībhūti, who is a mere reflection of a lama, penned this.
