Join me for a tour of GoodWe's Guangde battery manufacturing facility in China, where they're producing 10 gigawatt hours of batteries every year – that's 105 complete BESS units rolling off the line every single day. We take a close look at GoodWe's C&I battery range, from the 60 kWh ESA all-in-one cabinet right up to the 261 kWh liquid-cooled BESS (scalable to 5+ MWh), plus their residential rack-mount batteries and the heat chambers where packs are stress-tested at 45°C for accelerated aging. I sit down with Yang Yang, GoodWe's Head of R&D, to dig into why the ESA residential battery puts a DC-DC converter and BMS on every pack instead of stringing modules in series – and what that means for usable capacity and pack-to-pack balancing. Then Gopi, Sales Manager for Australia & New Zealand, walks me through the full C&I lineup, including the 92 kWh configuration that's proving popular under the Australian battery rebate.
