Temple Parent and Family Orientation 2026 - Ask the Experts: The Family Role in Student Success

Held on Friday, July 10, 2026, parent and family members of incoming Temple students were invited to ask the experts, Dr. Jodi Bailey Accavallo, Vice President of Student Affairs, about the emotional and developmental transition to college and the important role families play in student success. They learned how Temple's Division of Student Affairs team supports students' wellbeing, belonging, resilience, and independence, and gained insight into how families can encourage growth while preparing for the changes that come with the first year.
