Pennsylvania bridge slide update: How much farther does the new I-376 bridge have to go?
PennDOT says the new Commercial Street Bridge is nearly in place on I-376 (Parkway East) in Pittsburgh. Construction crews slid the bridge 96 feet before pausing to set concrete for one more bearing pedestal. They will now move the bridge six more feet laterally, then carefully set it down into place on the parkway. Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 is your home for Pennsylvania breaking news and weather.
