IHHP - Laynhapuy Homelands - This is our Country

IHHP and Laynhapuy Aboriginal Corporation have come together in the homelands of Dhalinbuy to create this song "This is our country". During the filming of this song, the people of Dhalinbuy took us out on country to show us how to cook bush tucker, finding the trees for and making Yidaki, collecting pandanus for weaving, and also find the plants for dying the pandanus. This amazing community of people welcomed us like family, and treated us to an amazing Bungul, as well as showing us around their country. Big big thank you to Tess and the Laynhapuy Aboriginal Corporation for helping us to get out to Dhalinbuy. Also thanks to Haylen for helping drive and with audio. Biggest thanks to the people of Dhalinbuy for welcoming us with such love. Its amazing when 2 Aboriginal Corporations work together to bring projects to people of the homelands, so thanks again to Miwatj Health for helping with this project.
