BACKRIDE BY TRAIN | Stasiun Gubug sampai Stasiun Brumbung

This video shows the journey from Gubug Station (+11 M) to Brumbung Station (+16 M). This section of the line also passes through another station, namely Tegowanu Station (+13 M). Part of this route is included in the Grobogan Regency area and the other part is in the Demak Regency area, Central Java. This plot of track has been a double track since 2013 and the signaling system is fully electric signaling. In the past, in 2006 there was an accident at the emplacement of Gubug Station, namely a collision between the Kertajaya train on the Pasar Senen connection - Surabaya Pasar Turi and the Sembrani train on the Gambir - Surabaya Pasar Turi connection. Initially, the Kertajaya train, which was already badly delayed, would be followed by two trains at once, namely the Gumarang train for the Pasar Senen - Surabaya Pasar Turi connection and the Sembrani train for the Gambir - Surabaya Pasar Turi connection. When the Kertajaya train was followed by the Gumarang train, everything ran normally. The accident occurred when the Sembrani train was about to overtake the Kertajaya train at Gubug Station because the Kertajaya train driver was running his locomotive without following the correct procedures. At the time of the incident, the Kertajaya train series had already advanced beyond the locomotive stop limit sign and were approaching the draft, while at the same time the Sembrani train that would follow had entered the Gubug Station emplacement at high speed. Therefore, the collision between the two trains was unavoidable, which resulted in 14 deaths and 26 injuries.
