Only what truly reduces their numbers. We'll explore the biology of the gray field slug: how many eggs does one female lay, at what temperature and humidity is it active, and why beer traps work as an indicator rather than a strategy. We'll cover the methods in detail: an iron phosphate-based biopreparation, the nematode Phasmarhabditis hermaphrodita, a copper barrier, hand picking on boards, night patrols with a flashlight, and distracting lettuce and mustard plantings.
