Orange Football Change : Youpougon remporte le trophée dans une ambiance festive à Sol Béni

Launched last September, the Orange Football Change 2021 Tournament (formerly Orange Football Talents) reached its climax this Sunday, October 10, 2021, in Sol Béni. For this edition, in addition to the discovery of the best U13 talents, the Orange Côte d'Ivoire Group's vacation program was enhanced with a commitment to environmental protection. An environmental cleanup caravan collected more than 19 tons of recyclable plastic waste, which will be recycled by the RECYPLAST company into sports equipment for the training centers that participated in the tournament. On the pitch, Yopougon's performances earned them the winner's trophy, defeating Koumassi in the final (3-3, 6-5 on penalties). Abobo won the bronze medal, defeating Yamoussoukro in the classification match (2-0). The tournament's top 9 talents were selected to represent Cameroon at a pan-African tournament in Cameroon on the sidelines of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Participants were treated to a performance by artists including freestyler Kassio Ignace, Malian dance group Choco Gang, and singers Ramses Tikaya and Roma Chiyaya. This is a great initiative from the Orange Group, which has been supporting young people for over 10 years to help them live their passion for football.
