Whelen WPS-2907 | Alert Signal + Air Horn | Walker, Minnesota | 4/1/26

Whilst being in the area, I decided to venture out to walker for April's siren test, one that I'm finally able to attend due to it falling on spring break for me. This was my first time hearing an omni-directional Whelen, and I gotta say this thing was decently loud, but not the loudest I've heard. You would not believe how surprised I was when I saw the old 2T22 that this siren replaced still sitting on the ground. That was one heck of a sight, and it's surprisingly still in decent condition! This particular unit is located near the Walker Public Library on Tower Avenue in Walker, Minnesota.
