Shooting the 1862 Colt Pocket Police
What we know as the Colt 1862 Pocket Police, Colt marketed as the Colt New Model Police Pistol and not necessarily a pocket pistol. While larger than the 1849 Pocket, the 1862 is not difficult to conceal and the term pocket pistol is a common descriptor. In this video we will test the energy of a little over 25 grains of 3f Olde Eynsford under both a round ball and conical bullet. This little 5-shot revolving pistol packs a punch.
