I can’t overstate the dangers of a politicised intelligence organisation like the DSS. An organisation which is meant to be a ‘secret’ police should be ‘secret’ and not engage in a public fight with Prison officials. It cannot also let herself become a political arm of the government in power to go after it’s perceived enemies. The consequences of this is that insecurity, banditry, terrorism, kidnapping and other myriad issues will not be defeated.
